Nigeria records 463 new cases of COVID-19, total now 33616

As Nigeria continues his fight against Covid-19, the country on Tuesday night has recorded 463 new cases of the deadly virus as the total now hits 33,616.

This was disclosed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) via its official Twitter handle.

According to NCDC, the total number of cases so far in Nigeria is now 33,616.

The NCDC further revealed that 754 people have died from the virus, with 13,792 patients discharged.

A state-by-state beak-down of  infected persons on Tuesday night is as follows:

In a related story, WITHIN NIGERIA reported that as Nigeria continues to battle Coronavirus, the Federal Government on Monday, July 13 disclosed that it is working towards getting more oxygen to attend to emergencies as deaths resulting from coronavirus complications keep increasing.

This was disclosed by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation and PTF Chairman, Boss Mustapha in Abuja during the briefing of the COVID-19 task force.
