All journalists in Oyo state have been directed by the NUJ Chairman, Ademola Babalola to boycott any press conference called by Chief Femi Fani-Kayode in continuation of his tour to PDP controlled states.

This directive was issued by the NUJ chairman on Monday while featuring on a live programme in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo state.

This is coming days after WITHIN NIGERIA reported that during a media briefings with some of the journalists after a recent tour of some South-South and southeast states, former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode blasted a journalist who asked him about being bankrolled.

Recall that the former minister of aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode had insulted Daily Trust reporter for asking him a question.
The Daily Trust reporter, Eyo Charles had asked the former minister who was bankrolling him in his tour but Fani-Kayode described Eyo’s question as ‘very stupid’.

WITHIN NIGERIA had earlier reported that the state chapter of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) in Akwa Ibom state has directed its members to boycott a press conference planned for Femi Fani-Kayode, a former minister of aviation.
