The All Progressives Congress APC House of Representatives-elect for Ovia South West federal constituency in Edo state, Dennis Idahosa, has embarked on vacation with his wife and others.
The former Edo Commissioner flew to Dubai along with his team to rest for a while after a grueling campaign and election process.
Idahosa, polled 28,509 votes to defeat the incumbent Omosede Igbinedion, daughter of Chief Gabriel Igbinedion and younger sister to the former Governor of the state, Chief Lucky Igbinedion, who scored 23, 345 votes in the last elections.
The Independent National Electoral Commission Returning Officer, Prof. Victor Igbinedion of the University of Benin, announced the final result and declared Idahosa the winner in Iguobazuwa, Ovia South West Local Government Area.
