Tragedy hits People’s Democratic Party (PDP) as her party chieftain, Toyin Ajinde lost her life in a fatal car accident.
It was gathered that she went into a state of coma immediately after the fatal accident.
It was learnt that she was rushed to the intensive care unit of the Trauma Centre in Ondo after the crash but later she gave up the ghost in the hospital.
According to a family source, “Toyin had been in coma since the accident occurred and she took the brute of the impact of the injury she sustained.”
Mourning her demise, Atiku Abubakar Tweeted, ‘Mrs Toyin Ajinde’s commitment to a better Nigeria was unparalleled. As a PDP woman leader in Ondo, she worked tirelessly to achieve this. I knew this because she was my longtime staunch supporter. I’m saddened by her loss. May her family be comforted & her soul rest in peace’.
