According to Fact checking research-based firm, Africa Facts Zone, Nigeria has successfully tackled eight different deadly diseases which have ravaged different countries in the world. Among the eight diseases is the current pandemic, Coronavirus, which has been eliminated from the country.

Recall that only two cases were reported in Nigeria with the first being an Italian man and the second, a Nigerian.

Taking to its Twitter page, Africa Facts Zone tweeted,

Nigeria has successfully tackled Coronavirus, Ebola, Swine Flu, Bird Flu, Lassa Fever (past outbreak), Meningitis, Zika Virus and West Nile Virus.

Reacting to the tweet, music executive, Audu Maikori called out the country’s leaders for successfully tackling natural outbreaks but failing to tackle poor leadership, broken politics, bad governance and corruption.
