According to the Chairman of Royal Salt, Chief Reggie Uduhiri, Johnson is the ideal personality that encapsulates what the Mr. Chef brand stands for.
“Mercy Johnson is a good homemaker, a good wife and a prolific actress that appeals to almost everyone. She is better suited to help us spread the message to Nigerians on the joy that Mr. Chef brings to homes beyond adding taste to life,” Uduhiri said.
Speaking at the unveiling ceremony in Lagos, the Non-Executive Director, Royal Salt Limited, Alhaji Lawal Idirisu, said the organisation was pleased to be joined by Johnson, adding that her values and appealing personality would help achieve the set goal.
He said because the company believed in putting their customers first, they had made it a priority to share the essential nature of their product with the general public.
Speaking on her nomination, Johnson said she was excited about her unveiling, adding that that she was anxious to share the joy that Mr. Chef Salt gave to mothers.
