A prophet identified as David Daniel has been arrested by the Lagos state police command for masturbating while conducting spiritual cleansing on a woman in Ejigbo area of the state.
In a statement signed and released by the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Bala Elkana stated that the prophet had accosted the victim, Joy Muriyaro, at her shop and claimed that he saw in a vision that she was having a spiritual problem and would have fibroid growth in her womb in the future.
The suspect subsequently collected N3,500 cash and a bottle of perfume worth N1000 from her for spiritual cleansing. The woman told the police that the suspect followed her to her house and ordered her to remove her clothes for him to rob anointing oil on her buttocks.
“She became apprehensive when she noticed that the suspect was masturbating when robbing the anointing oil on her buttocks. The suspect was arrested and charged to court for indecent assault and remanded in Kirikiri Prison,” Bala said in the statement
