Pictures showing the extent of damage caused by fire outbreak which razed shops and destroyed goods and properties worth millions of Naira in Kaduna have surfaced on internet.
WITHIN NIGERIA had earlier reported that no fewer than 20 shops including a pharmacy was on Wednesday evening engulfed by fire in Kaduna State
This sad incident occurred in the late hours of Wednesday, April 29.
As at the time of reportage, the cause of the fire is yet unknown.
It was also learnt that these goods were badly affected by fire as a result of the lockdown imposed on the state as a means of curbing the deadly disease which deprives most of the shop owners the chance to salvage their goods.

In a related story, WITHIN NIGERIA reported that there was an early morning fire on Sunday which razed five offices of Freedom Radio in Kaduna.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Freedom Radio is a private radio station based in Kaduna.
