Nigeria records 155 new COVID-19 cases, total hits 55,160

Nigeria records 304 new COVID-19 cases, total now 44,433

As the battle against Coronavirus continues, Nigeria has recorded 155 new cases of the deadly virus on Monday night with a total of 55,160 confirmed cases.

This was disclosed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) via its official Twitter handle.

NCDC revealed that 43,231 patients have now been discharged, with 1,061 patients losing their lives to the Coronavirus pandemic.

According to the NCDC, Lagos State had the highest number of infections on Monday night with 42 cases, with Plateau State following with 25 cases.
