For the family of Kingsley Joseph of Izzi local government area of Ebonyi state, December 9th 2023 will never be forgotten in a hurry.

According to the organisers of the event, the Fashion Week which usually comes up few days before Christmas every is aimed at showcasing the fashion ingenuity of the Aba fashion designers and probably attract investors in the industry.

He was also said to be a sachet water vendor after being dropped from primary four.

So, adorned in washed out red Adidas polo, jeans knicker and torn red rubber slippers, an attire synonymous with his type, Kingsley set out for the Fashion week that would change his life for better.

However,  standing in the midst of hundreds of other observers, admiring the red carpet prepared for Very Important Personalities, VIPs, the 11-year old boy noticed that there is something common between the colour of his worn out Adidas polo and that of the rug used for VIPs red carpet show.

Pushed by this similarity, Kingsley, a primary four school drop out, stepped out from where he has been covered by other observers and took bold steps into the VIPs red carpet show with unique walking show.

As he was been cheered by other spectators for walking through the VIPs’ red carpet, he was overheard saying that he himself is also a VIP.

He repeated that he is also a VIP and deserved to walk on the red carpet meant for the Governor.
