Lagos APC gubernatorial candidate Babajide Sanwo-olu’s campaign vehicles have flooded Lagos.
He appears prepared to take over the mantle of leadership from Governor Akinwunmi Ambode who lost his second term bid after a falling out with his Godfather, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Political campaigns in Lagos will be intensified from now on as the electoral empire, INEC lifts the ban. The gubernatorial race is expected to be majorly between Sanwo-olu and Jimi Agbaje of the main opposition party in Nigeria – Peoples Democratic Party.
Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has also announced members of his campaign organisation.
Forty-three members of the APC were appointed based on their expertise.
According to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), campaigns for Governorship and State Houses of Assembly would commence on December 1.
