The remains of the late Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Abba Kyari has been laid to rest today Saturday in Abuja.
This is coming after the Personal Assistant on New Media to President Buhari, Basir Ahmad disclosed the move on his Twitter handle on Saturday morning.
Ahmad said, “Mallam Abba Kyari will be buried later today in Abuja according to Islamic rites.”.
Muslim prayers was held for Kyari at the Defence House and his burial took place at Gudu Cemetery in Abuja.
The burial arrangements proceeded immediately after the dead body of the late Chief of Staff arrived in Abuja.
A video showing top officials of the government (Muslims) observing the janazat (muslims prayer for the dead) for the late Chief of Staff has surfaced on internet.
The dead body of the late Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari can be seen lying helpessly infront of the Muslims in the video.

Recall that Mallam Abba Kyari died on Friday as a result of complications from Coronavirus.
