A senior lecturer of the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Kaduna state alongside his wife and daughter have been kidnapped by armed men after they broke in staff quarters.
WITHIN NIGERIA learnt that the lecturer simply identified as Bako is an academic staff in the department of physiology.
According to a source, the attackers broke into the residence of Bako in the early hours of Monday.
The abduction has been confirmed in a statement released by a spokesman of the university, Awwalu Umaru.
WITHIN NIGERIA had earlier reported that unknown gunmen have abducted a yet-to-be identified Roman Catholic priest in the federal capital territory (FCT).
It was learnt that the priest was kidnapped around Yangoji, a community around Kwali area council in the FCT on Sunday.
