COA Media, the organizers of the Plateau Man of the Year Award, has announced that nominations for the 2021 awards will open on November 27 for all 37 categories.
The request is contained in a statement signed in Jos by Mr Cletus Akhimien, Convener and Executive Director of COA Media.
According to Akhimien, this year’s award, the seventh edition, “has a lot in store, including the launch of its magazine, The Eminence, and a musical performance by top popular musicians in Nigeria.”
“It is true that the Plateau Man of the Year Award has remained a prestigious recognized award aimed at recognizing and celebrating outstanding individuals and institutions.”
“It encourages individuals and institutions that are making significant contributions to Plateau’s advancement.”
“This award has also served as a platform to recognize and celebrate talents, icons, industry captains, technocrats, and those who make Plateau proud in a variety of endeavors.”
“The 2021 Awards featured 37 distinct nomination categories.”
He stated that the presentations would take place at the Award’s Gala Night, which is scheduled for February 20, 2022 in Jos.
According to Akhimien, all nominees must be individuals or corporate entities with a direct bearing and impact on their immediate society.
